Milwaukee opened as -125 money line favorites to beat San Diego but the Brewers' line has dropped to -115. San Diego, meanwhile, hit the board at +105 and that's where the Padres' number lies at the majority of online sportsbooks. The total remains at 8.
PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION
As of this writing, 67% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Brewers to win on the money line. Meanwhile, 58% of the betting tickets are on the over.
Anderson is a fly-ball pitcher that limits hard contact, so he should fare well today at Petco Park, which is one of the most pitcher-friendly ballparks in baseball. He should be fine attacking a new-look Padres lineup that could be improved throughout the year but still isn't dangerous. Milwaukee also has some excellent right-handed power in its lineup and while Richard does a good job limiting damage, he also doesn't strike many batters out. The Brewers should jump him at some point and hold on to victory with their solid pen.
THURSDAY MLB PREDICTION: MILWAUKEE BREWERS -115
