Updated 2019 MLB Win Total Odds
Players in Florida and Arizona are reporting for spring training and before you know it, it’ll be April and baseball will be back in full spring. Here’s an updated look at each team’s regular season win totals for 2019.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the defending champion Boston Red Sox have an over/under of 95.5 wins for 2019. Other teams with 90-plus win totals for the upcoming season include the Cubs at o/u 90, the Indians at o/u 90.5, the Astros at 96.5, the Dodgers at 94.5 and the Yankees at 96.5.
There are a plethora of teams with win totals in the 80s, including the Braves at o/u 84.5. The Rockies are also in the 80s at o/u 82.5, while the Angels have a win total of o/u 83.5. After making the postseason a year ago, the Brewers have a win total of o/u 85, while the A’s, Phillies, Rays, Mets and Twins each have win totals of o/u 84.5, respectively. After trading for Paul Goldschmidt, the Cardinals’ win total for 2019 is 88.5, while the Nationals own a win total of o/u 88.
Shifting to teams with win totals in the 70s, the Diamondbacks’ over/under for 2019 is 76.5 while the White Sox o/u is 75.5. Chicago’s win total would increase if the Sox were able to sign Manny Machado, who has been linked to the Windy City at times over the past few months.
Continuing with the odds, the Reds’ o/u is 77.5, as is Cincinnati’s NL Central rival the Pirates. The Padres, who have also been linked to Machado recently, have an o/u of 76.5 while the Mariners’ o/u is 74.5. The Blue Jays have a win total of o/u 75/5, while the Rangers’ win total is 70.5. Finally, a team that has been reportedly interested in Bryce Harper, the Giants, have an over/under of 73.5 for wins in 2019.
Some of the non-contenders include the Orioles, who have a win total of 59.5, the Tigers (67.5) and the Marlins (65.5).
