Washington vs. Cal Pick
Will Washington rout Cal on Saturday night and cover as a large road favorite when the Pac-12 rivals meet at 10:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are 17-point road favorites versus the Golden Bears while the total is sitting at 76.5 points. Washington opened as 15.5-point favorites before the line was bet up, while the total hit the board at 78.5 before dropping to 76.5.
WASHINGTON KEY TRENDS: The Huskies have covered the spread in four of their last five road games against the Golden Bears and have cashed in five of their last seven games overall versus Cal. The road team is also a perfect 4-0 against the number in the last four meetings between these two teams and Washington is 5-2 against the spread in its last seven games in November.
CALIFORNIA KEY TRENDS: The Golden Bears have covered in four of their last five home games but have struggled at the betting window in conference games, going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Pac-12 games. They're also winless at 0-6 against the spread in their last six games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game.
OUR PREDICTION: The Golden Bears are 8-1 at home over the last two seasons, including five straight home wins dating back to last November. While it'll be difficult to beat a red-hot, highly motivated Washington team on Saturday night, Cal has kept things close at home for those that are wondering. Six of the Bears' last seven home games have been decided by seven points or fewer. Cal has also taken care of the ball at home, turning the ball over just once in three home games. The Huskies are a juggernaut, but 17 points is a lot to lay on the road team in a conference game.
