Will Heat rebound in Game 4?
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) -The NBA Finals continue tonight in Miami, as the Heat look to even the series 2-2 when they take on the Spurs at 9:00PM ET.
The Spurs might as well have been on the court by themselves in Game 3 as they dominated Miami with a 111-92 win. San Antonio blew out the Heat in last year's Game 3 too, although we all know the outcome of that series.
Game 4 is a must win for Miami, as they definitely don't want to head back to San Antonio down 3-1, at the same time the Spurs aren't looking for a repeat of last year's results. The Spurs had everything go their way in Game 3, as they shot an NBA Finals record 75% in the first half. You would have to expect the Spurs to cool off in Game 4, while Miami should also put up more of an effort defensively.
The NBA playoffs, as I've said before, is all about adjustments. Although Gregg Popovich and the Spurs always come up with top notch game plans, I look for the Heat to have the edge here, at least defensively. Miami has proven over the season, they are tough to beat following a loss. LeBron also is able to hit that next level when a little adversity comes his way. The Heat have their backs against the wall here and that gives them the desperation edge as well.
It's not too often that I've backed the Heat this season, but Game 4 is the time to do it. The Heat are laying between 5 and 5.5 points in this one, and you should try to catch them at the best available line.
The answer in this one is to lay the points with the Heat, and collect your green.
