Greenbrier Classic Free Picks
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (ATSConsultants) – The 2015 Greenbrier Classic gets underway today. Here are some golfer we like for this week’s golf event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Bubba Watson is favored to emerge with the title, as he has 10/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Paul Casey (20/1), while three others have 22/1 odds. Tiger Woods comes into the event with 40/1 odds. The Greenbrier Classic takes place Thursday-Sunday from The Old White TPC.
Webb Simpson has 22/1 odds to win this week. He finished third a year ago, so this is a course he feels good about. 2015 hasn’t been a great year for Simpson, but he has been great about making cuts and he has three top 10s. With this field lacking and it being a good one for him, look for Simpson to contend.
Kevin Kisner has been on a nice hot streak as of late. He comes into this tournament with 25/1 odds and he has placed in the top 12 in five of his last seven, including three straight events. While he did miss the cut in this event last year, his current hot streak tells us this weekend could see him picking up a victory.
Bill Haas has 28/1 odds to win this weekend. He is coming off a missed cut at the U.S. Open, but he was 23rd in this tournament a year ago. Haas had made six straight cuts before the U.S. Open, including one top 5 and four top 20s. Look for him to be a contender this weekend with a lackluster field.
