2014 U.S. Open Updated Odds: Kaymer Heavily Favored After Second Round

PINEHURST, NC (TheSpread) – The 2014 U.S. Open is halfway complete, but only one golfer appears to be in contention to win.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Martin Kaymer is the overwhelming favorite after two rounds, as he now has 20/39 odds to prevail. Other short odds are Henrik Stenson (27/2) and Rory McIlroy (14/1).

Kaymer followed up his first-round 65 with another 65 on Friday, putting him at -10 for the tournament, which is six shots ahead of the field. Brendon Todd is the lone golfer at -4 overall. Only 13 golfers are under par for the tournament.

Stenson sits at -2 for the tournament and in a tie for fifth place. Stenson posted his second straight 1-under 69 on Friday.

McIlroy is at -1 for the tournament and in a tie for 10^th place. McIlroy shot a 2-under 68 on Saturday to get into contention.
