According to the latest oddsmakers, four golfers are favored to win, as Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth each are listed with 14/1 odds. Tiger Woods is also competing this week. He has 35/1 odds. The Players Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

McIlroy is eighth in the world rankings and is seeking his second win of the 2018 season. He has competed in 10 events this year and has four top-10 finishes and two missed cuts.

Day won this tournament back in 2016. After going winless in 2017, Day is having a great start to his 2018 season. He has played in six tournaments this year and has two wins and a runner-up finish. He is coming off a victory this past weekend in the Wells Fargo Championship.

Thomas is second in the world rankings coming into this week. He has one win in the 2018 season and four top-10 finishes. Thomas has also made the cut in all nine tournaments he’s competed in.

Spieth is fourth in the world rankings right now. He hasn’t played since The Masters, where he finished third. Spieth has four top-10 finishes this year out of 10 tournaments, but has missed the cut twice.
