According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Rory McIlroy comes in as the favorite to win, as he has 7/1 odds. The other short odds to win are Tiger Woods and Adam Scott, who each have 12/1 odds.

McIlroy moved up to sixth in the world rankings by placing second in last weekend’s event. He was in line to get a win but had a rough final round and ultimately lost in a playoff. He has finished 11th or better in eight of his last 10 events with one win. He placed eighth in this event last year and third in 2012.

Woods is a 7-time winner of this event and the defending champion. However, he is coming off back spasms that forced him to pull out of last week’s event and is questionable to play this week. Woods is still the top-ranked golfer in the world, but his 2014 is off to a rough start. Aside with not finishing last week, he has finished outside the top 40 in his other two events.

Scott is second in the world rankings and he has finishing from 6-12th in all his events this year. He has finished 12th or better in seven straight events, including two wins. He placed third in this event last year and 13th in 2012.

The WGC-Cadillac Championship takes place March 6-9 from TPC Blue Monster at Doral. For a look at the odds to win this golf tournament, see below.
