CareerBuilder Challenge Odds
The PGA Tour is back in action this week with the CareerBuilder Challenge. Here is a look at the odds to win this tournament.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Patrick Reed is the favorite this week with 16/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Francesco Molinari (20/1), Phil Mickelson (20/1), Bill Haas (20/1) and Zach Johnson (20/1). This tournament takes place from Jan. 19-22 at three different courses in La Quinta, California.
Reed won this tournament in 2014. He currently sits ninth in the world rankings. Reed has played in one event over the last two weeks and finished sixth. He has made the cut in 17 straight events.
Molinari is 33rd in the world rankings, but he is on a hot streak entering 2017. He has finished sixth or better in his last four events, including one win.
Mickelson is a two-time winner of this event, but the last win came in 2004. Mickelson is 21st in the current world rankings but hasn’t won a tournament since 2013. He has finished outside the top 10 in five of his last six events.
Haas is a two-time winner of this tournament, last claiming the title in 2015. He sits 42nd in the world ranking right now. He has finished in the top 20 in four straight events.
Johnson is 37th in the world rankings. He finished sixth in last week’s Sony Open but hasn’t recorded a win since the 2015 British Open. He missed the cut in this tournament last year.
