Sony Open Odds


HONOLULU, HI (TheSpread) – The PGA Tour remains in Hawaii this week for the 2014 Sony Open. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.

According to oddsmakers from, Adam Scott is the favorite to win, as he has 8/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Zach Johnson (10/1), Matt Kuchar (14/1) and Jordan Spieth (16/1).

Scott is second in the world rankings and coming off a sixth-place finish in the Tournament of Champions. He has placed sixth or better in five straight events, including two wins.

Johnson won this event back in 2009. He is coming off back-to-back wins in his last two events and is now currently ranked seventh in the world. He has won three of his last six tournaments.

Kuchar is eighth in the world rankings and coming off a sixth-place finish last week as well. He has placed seventh or better in five straight events. He placed fifth in this tournament last year.

Spieth is 17th in the world rankings and coming off a runner-up finish last week to Johnson. Spieth has finished second in two of his last four events.
