This fight will take place from the Coati Arena in Macao, China and is for the vacant WBO International Welterweight Championship. The event will air live on PPV on Saturday, starting at 7PM ET.

Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO’s) hasn’t fought in nearly a year since being knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez last December. Pacquiao has now lost two straight, as he suffered a controversial decision loss to Timothy Bradley in June of 2012. Pacquiao is known for his speed and power, but he hasn’t scored a KO victory since November of 2009.
Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO’s) is getting the biggest fight of his career. He is fighting at welterweight for the first time in a major fight, which gives Pacquiao an edge on size and power. Rios is coming off a decision loss to Mike Alvarado last March, but he had scored a TKO win over Alvarado just over a year ago. The loss was the first of his career. Rios comes in showing a lot of impressive KO power. He has scored a KO in 11 of his last 13 victories. Rios will certainly be facing a hostile crowd and could find himself overwhelmed by the environment.
