St. Pierre retains title
MONTREAL, Quebec (TheSpread) – Georges St. Pierre returned to action with a victory over Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 154 on Saturday night.

In the UFC Welterweight Championship from the Bell Centre, St. Pierre and Condit put on 25 minutes of action, with St. Pierre getting the best of most of the fight. Condit did land a head kick that sent GSP down in the third, but the champion recovered and finished the fight with takedowns and control to earn a unanimous decision and retrain his title. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, St. Pierre had odds of -345 to win, which means a wager of $345 on St. Pierre will pay out an additional $100.
The co-main event of Saturday’s card saw Johny Hendricks knock out Martin Kampmann in the first round of their welterweight clash. There wasn’t much to the fight, as Hendricks won in just 46 seconds. Hendricks was patient with his striking, feeling out Kampmann for timing before throwing a big right-left combo that put Kampmann out. Hendricks came intot he fight with odds of -145 to win, which means a wager of $145 on him to win will pay out an additional $100.
