UFC Fight Night 32 Picks
GOIAS, Brazil (The Spread) – UFC Fight Night 32 will be held on Saturday night. Here are a few picks to consider for this event.
UFC Fight Night 32 will take place from Goiania Arena in Goias, Brazil with the main card bouts airing live on the new FOX Sports 1 at 8PM ET on Saturday. All odds are according to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv.
Vitor Belfort is arguably fighting as well as he ever has. His last four wins have been by stoppage within 7 minutes and his lone loss since 2011 came against Jon Jones, whom he took to the fourth round and nearly submitted despite being a natural 185-pounder. This fight is also at light heavyweight, but Dan Henderson is also a natural middleweight. Henderson’s last two fights have been somewhat uninspired, as he simply looks to land his big right hand and not fully utilize his wrestling skills. His gas tank also isn’t what it used to be, as he is slowing down at age 43. Belfort can’t afford to slug it out with Belfort, who has one-punch KO power. I see Henderson tiring out the longer this fight goes and Belfort eventually picking up another big win in a flurry of punches. UFC FREE PICK – Vitor Belfort -230
This bout features two tough Brazilians fighting in their home country. Ferreira is the more well-rounded fighter and my pick to win this bout. Sarafian is a very strong submission fighter, but the tougher the competition gets in the UFC, the more multi-dimensional you need to be. Ferreira will keep out of the submissions and control the 15 minutes for a decision victory. UFC FREE PICK – Cezar Ferreira -150
