Pacquiao vs. Bradley Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Manny Pacquiao returns to the boxing ring on Saturday when he defends his WBO Welterweight Title against Timothy Bradley.
This fight will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will air live on HBO PPV. According to oddsmakers, Pacquiao (54-3-2) is the favorite in this contest, as he has a money line of -550 to win. The challenger, Bradley (28-0-0, 1 NC), has been given odds of +350 to win.
Pacquiao is the champion in this fight and coming off a majority decision win over Juan Manuel Marquez back in November where he was pushed to his limits. Pacquiao has won 15 straight fights and not lost since 2005. He has failed to earn a knockout in his last four fights, with his last KO coming against Miguel Cotto in 2009. Pacquiao is considered one of the fastest fighters in the sport and has great power for his speed. He tends to be more of an aggressive champion, as opposed to Floyd Mayweather Jr., who uses more of a defensive style.
Bradley is the challenger in this bout and moving up in weight to face Pacquiao, which could slow him up a little bit and possible take away some of his power by comparison to his competition. Bradley has won four straight since a no contest against Nate Campbell back in 2009. He is currently coming off an eighth-round TKO win over Joel Casamayor in November. He has never lost, but he hasn’t faced great competition in his career. This will certainly be a major step up in competition for him.
