UFC 146 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10PM ET. The event takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Preliminary bouts will air live on FX at approximately 8PM ET. The main event is a battle for the UFC Heavyweight Championship as Junior Dos Santos (14-1) defends his title against Frank Mir (16-5).

According to the oddsmakers, Dos Santos is the favorite to win this contest, as he has odds of -535 while Mir has a money line of +385 to win. On Friday night, Mir weighed in at 261 pounds for the 265-pound limit of this contest while JDS came in at 239 pounds. The key to this fight seems to be where it will take place. If it stays standing, Dos Santos likely has the clear edge. If the fight hits the ground, Mir should have the advantage.

In the co-main event, heavyweights Cain Velasquez (9-1) takes on Antonio Silva (16-3). According to oddsmakers, Velasquez is the clear favorite to win, as he has a money line of -400 to win, while Silva has odds of +300 to prevail. At the weigh ins, Velasquez hit the scale at 240 pounds while Silva came in at 264 pounds. This is Silva’s first UFC bout while Velasquez is fighting for the first time since losing the belt to Dos Santos by KO.
