According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Dodgers are -120 money line favorites over the Giants, who are +111 money line road underdogs. The total for tonight's game is currently sitting at 7 runs.
San Francisco is in the mix of a late-season collapse as its lost three straight games and four of its last 10 to fall 4.5 games back of L.A. in the NL West. That said, the Giants are 8-2 in their last 10 games against the Dodgers in Los Angeles despite being just 1-5 in their last six games overall versus their biggest rival.
The Giants are also 4-0 in Jake Peavy's last four starts and 4-0 in his last four starts when the total is set between 7 and 8.5 runs. They're also 4-0 in Peavy's last four starts after scoring two runs or less in their previous game and 4-1 in his last five starts following a quality start in his last appearance.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, are 1-4 in Haren's last five starts as a favorite of between -110 and -150 and 2-6 in his last eight starts with five days of rest in between. They're also 2-5 in his last seven starts versus NL West opponents and 4-9 in his last 13 starts as a favorite.
