Game Preview:
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global have made the Connecticut Huskies 13.5-point favorites, and for good reason. The Huskies have been excellent at home lately, going 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games. UCONN also boasts one of the better defenses in the country and good give young Baylor QB Robert Griffin fits. Also, Huskies’ WR Donald Brown is on fire, amassing 566 yards and eight touchdowns in only three games.
Prediction:
There’s no doubt that Baylor has improved dramatically, but the odds are stacked against them in this one. UCONN has only allowed 98 points in its last nine home games and with how well the offense is playing, they should have no problems scoring on the Bears’ defense. We predict Connecticut over Baylor 38-13.
