Game Matchup:
Kansas has an outstanding offense; South Florida has an outstanding defense. Something has to give. Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have made South Florida a 3.5-point favorite. The Bulls are coming off an overtime victory over Central Florida, and they’ll get an even bigger test against the Jayhawks. QB Todd Reesing is excellent at getting the ball out of his hands quickly, while South Florida has defensive ends that can get a good edge rush. Look for Kansas’s running backs to make one cut and get up the field to avoid negative losses to give the Bulls momentum.

Prediction:
Even though South Florida boasts the best defense in the country, Kansas’s offense does a great job of staying out of bad down-and-distance situations. Reesing isn’t going to shred the Bulls, but look for Kansas to use its running game to wear down South Florida late in the game. We predict the underdog Kansas over South Florida 30-27.
