Jets outside linebacker Calvin Pace will miss a few weeks with a broken right foot, meaning New York's top pass rusher could be sidelined for at least the first game of the regular season.

Pace will have surgery Monday in North Carolina, after leaving the Jets' preseason loss to the Washington Redskins in the third quarter Friday night.
Coach Rex Ryan says Sunday it's too early to speculate how long Pace will be sidelined. He says it's ``safe to say'' he'll be out for the opener against Baltimore.
Pace led the team with eight sacks last season.
Ryan also says he has talked to former Ravens linebacker Adalius Thomas, and says signing him to help replace Pace ``could be a possibility.''

Oddsmakers from online sports book currently list the Jets at 10/1 to win the 2011 Super Bowl and 6/1 to win the AFC. They’re also +130 on the money line to win the AFC East Division and have an over/ under season win total of 9.5 games.
