Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog currently list the Eskimos as 9.5-point favorites over the Argonauts, while the over/under total is set at 50 points. According to latest trends, the Argonauts are 10-3 against the spread in their last 13 road games against the Eskimos, so don’t count Toronto out this week.
The CFL action actually gets kicked off on Thursday night this week when Winnipeg hosts the BC Lions at 8:00PM ET. Oddsmakers currently list the Blue Bombers as 4-point favorites over the Lions, while the over/under is 52.5 points. The under is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and 11-5 in the last 16 meetings in Winnipeg. The Lions are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games against the Blue Bombers but just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five meetings with Winnipeg overall.
Fresh off their first win of the year, the Saskatchewan Roughriders will host the Calgary Stampeders at 9:30PM ET on Sunday. The Roughriders are 2.5-point underdogs against the Stampeders, who are just 1-4 against the number in their last four road games against Saskatchewan. They’re also just 2-5 against the number in their last seven meetings with the Roughriders overall.
As of this points, the odds are not out for the Montreal-Hamilton game, but the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between the two teams and 9-2 in the last 11 meetings in Hamilton. The Alouttes are also 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 trips to Hamilton.
