Cleveland will start Trevor Bauer, who is 3-4 with a 3.84 ERA, versus Detroit’s Anibal Sanchez, who is 6-3 with a 3.04 ERA. Bauer was touched for four runs in 6 1/3 innings the last time he faced Detroit while giving up home runs to Ian Kinsler, Victor Martinez and Rajai Davis. Sanchez is coming off a solid start versus Kansas City but was also pounded for seven runs over 5 2/3 innings against the Rays on July 5.
