(The Spread) – The CFL heads into Week 4, as Edmonton and Montreal attempt to stay undefeated, and Saskatchewan and BC try to pick up their first victories.
The action gets kicked off this weekend with a matchup between Hamilton (1-2) and BC (0-3) at 10:00PM ET on Friday. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, the Lions are 3.5-point favorites over the visiting Tiger-Cats, while the over/under total has opened at 50 points.
The Tigers-Cats are 4-1 against the spread in their last five meetings with the Lions and 4-1 ATS in their last four road games against BC. The under is also 10-4 in the last 14 meetings between these two teams overall.
The odds have yet to be released for the Winnipeg-Toronto matchup at 4:00PM ET on Saturday, but Calgary is 4-point favorites over Edmonton at 7:00PM ET that night. The Eskimos are just 1-4 against the spread in their last four road games against the Stampeders and 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.
Week 4 will wrap up on Sunday when Saskatchewan takes on undefeated Montreal at 7:00PM ET. The Alouettes are 12-point home favorites against the Roughriders, who are looking to pick up their first victory of the season. The Roughriders are 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games against Montreal and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall against the Alouettes.
