Denver Broncos’ wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been at odds against the Denver Broncos for the past couple months now. He’s upset with the way they handled his hip surgery and he also wants a new contract.
But even though he remains a disgruntled player, Marshall vows that he’ll be on time when the Broncos open training camp on July 27. His reasoning? Well money, of course.
“It’s $14,000 a day if I miss, he said. “So I will be there. I’m not stupid.”
This of course doesn’t mean that he and the Broncos are on good terms – it just means that Marshall doesn’t want to give up all that loot for missing camp. It’s likely that he’ll still openly complain about his contract situation and the way he was mistreated by Denver’s team doctors regarding his hip injury. But whether or not the Broncos will seek a trade partner for him is unclear.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING have made the Broncos 50/1 long shots to win Super Bowl XLIV. They’ve also established Denver as a 20/1 long shot to win their conference.
