(The Spread) - The Vancouver Canucks and Boston Bruins will battle for the Stanley Cup in a do-or-die Game 7 on Wednesday and all eyes will be on the two goaltenders for this all-important matchup.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have made  Vancouver will hope to catch sporadic goaltender Roberto Luongo on a good night. In his team’s three victories, Luongo has looked every bit as competent as Vezina candidate Tim Thomas, stopping 95 of the 97 shots he’s faced.

In the Vancouver’s three losses, however, Luongo has been obliterated for 15 goals on just 66 shots. He does lead the NHL in postseason wins with 15, but when he's looked bad, he's been real bad.

Thomas, meanwhile, has played well all postseason long. He's posted a save percentage of .961 while allowing just eight goals through the first six games. Even if the Bruins fall on the road in Game 7, Thomas remains a favorite to win the Conn Smythe award for his incredible work between the pipes this season.

Of the 8,400-plus wagers on tonight’s game, 69% of NHL public bettors favor the visiting Bruins at +136 money line odds.

Neither team has won a game on the road so far in the best-of-seven series, which puts the pressure on Boston if they want to win their first Stanley Cup since 1972. Vancouver has never won the Stanley Cup, so the Canucks will look to make history tonight at 8:00PM ET.
