Game on Dude Race Info:

Trainer: Bob Baffert

Jockey: Martin Garcia

Post Position: No. 8

Updated Odds:

Game on Dude opened at 8/1 to win the 2010 Belmont Stakes, but his odds have since dropped to 10/1 according to oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction.

Recent Race History:

Game on Dude is coming off a sharp prep after winning the G3 Lone Star Derby on May 8. Before that outing, however, he finished fifth at the G3 Derby Trial on April 24 and seventh at the G1 Florida Derby on March 20.

Betting Analysis:

There are several reasons to shoot down Game on Dude and toss him off our list of potential horses that could finish in the money today. He beat a weak field at the Lone Star and before that, he wasn’t close at the Derby Trial or the Florida Derby. But here are two reasons to take a flier on Game on Dude today: Bob Baffert and Martin Garcia. The trainer-jockey combo is extremely hot right now, after winning the Preakness Stakes with Lookin at Lucky. Since moving to Baffert’s stable, Game on Dude has been an improved horse and he represents good value at 10/1. Garcia will have to get creative in order to win, but Game on Dude reminds us of Da’Tara, who won here in 2008.
