Mike Conway has had much to celebrate in his second year in IRL, but a win in Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 would certainly change all that.

Bet 2010 Indianapolis 500 Odds

Winless in his IRL career which started in 2009, Conway has cracked the top five just one time.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction currently list Conway at 100/1 to win the 2010 Indy 500. Helio Castroneves, who won the pole on Saturday, is the current favorite at 5/2 and Scott Dixon is 7/2 to win.

Conway raced in the 2009 Indy 500, where he finished 18th after starting 27th. Conway finished on the lead lap, which showed some potential for the future. But, that potential hasn’t panned out. Just this year alone, Conway hasn’t finished better than eighth in five races and has finished back at least one spot with each week. For Sunday’s race, Conway will start in row 5 in the 15th position and hope to climb at least nine spots like he did a year ago.

The 2010 Indianapolis 500 will start at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. For more information on the race, check out our 2010 Indy 500 Viewing Guide and for odds, see below.
