A win may be a lot to ask of Justin Wilson in Sunday’s Indianapolis 500, as the Formula 1 and Champ Car veteran is hoping to just keep his car in one piece this year.

Bet 2010 Indianapolis 500 Odds

Having competed in the past two Indy 500s, Wilson has wrecked in each showing.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com currently list Wilson at 100/1 to win the 2010 Indy 500. Helio Castroneves, who won the pole on Saturday, is the current favorite at 5/2 and Scott Dixon is 7/2 to win.

Wilson finished 27th in the 2008 Indy 500 and 23rd in 2009. While lucks hasn’t been on his side at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he has a decent starting position, coming out of the 11th spot in row 4. Wilson has had a promising 2010 season thus far, finishing runner-up in two races along with a seventh-place finish in another. He currently sits sixth in the season standings. For his career, Wilson has two wins in 39 races and 11 top-10 finishes.

The 2010 Indianapolis 500 will start at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. For more information on the race, check out our 2010 Indy 500 Viewing Guide and for odds, see below.
