Poised for a breakout year in 2010, Ryan Hunter-Reay is hoping to make that an even bigger reality Sunday in the 2010 Indianapolis 500.

Already with one win in the 2010 season, Hunter-Reay will start 17th in Sunday’s race.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com currently list Hunter-Reay at 30/1 to win the 2010 Indy 500. Helio Castroneves, who won the pole on Saturday, is the current favorite at 5/2 and Scott Dixon is 7/2 to win.

Currently fourth in the IRL standings thanks to three top-5 finishes, Reay is one pace for his best career finish in a IRL season, with his previous best being eighth in 2008. In the Indy 500, Reay has raced the last two years, coming in sixth in 2008 and 32nd in 2009. In 44 career IRL races, Reay has two wins to his credit.
