One of the most storied drivers in Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 field, Tony Kanaan will look to get his first Indy 500 victory.

Bet 2010 Indianapolis 500 Odds

A former IRL series champion and runner-up in the 2004 Indy 500, Kanaan has a lot of ground to make up to win Sunday’s race, as he will start 32nd.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL currently list Kanaan at 25/1 to win the 2010 Indy 500. Helio Castroneves, who won the pole on Saturday, is the current favorite at 5/2 and Scott Dixon is 7/2 to win.

In eight career Indy 500 races, Kanaan has finished in the top 10 four times. But, Kanaan’s last two showings have been less than memorable, as he finished 27th in 2009 and 29th in 2008. Kanaan has competed in 113 races in his IRL career, picking up 13 wins and 42 top 10’s along the way. This year, Kanaan has finished no worse than 10th but no better than third in five races.

The 2010 Indianapolis 500 will start at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. For more information on the race, check out our 2010 Indy 500 Viewing Guide and for odds, see below.
