(The Spread) - The Miami Dolphins made one of the biggest splashes in free agency this spring when they signed Mike Wallace to a multi-year deal.
Wallace signed a five-year, $60 million contract that includes an $11 million signing bonus back in March of this year. Twenty-seven million of that contract is fully guaranteed and $37.85 million will be paid to the 26-year-old over the first three seasons. The $9.85 million base salary for 2015 also becomes fully guaranteed if he's on the Dolphins' roster as of the fifth day of the new league year in 2014.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv released prop odds relating to Wallace's 2013 regular season. The over/under for number of yards that Wallace will rack up in 2013 was set at 925.5, with the over and under carrying -115 in juice.
How many total receptions will Wallace have in the 2013 NFL regular season? The over/under has been set at 62.5 for the number of catches and 6.5 for the number of touchdowns that he'll compile next season.
The most passes Wallace has ever caught in his career came in 2011 when he racked up 72 catches for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns. He scored a career-high 10 touchdowns in 2010 and the most yardage he's ever accumulated in one year was 1,257, also in 2010. He spent all four of his previous seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
