Thanks to LeBron James’ amazing 3-point buzzer beater on Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t heading to Orlando down 0-2 in their best of seven series with the Magic.
On Sunday, the two teams will square off in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.COM have made the Magic 1.5-point favorites for Game 3 against the Cavs. Oddsmakers have also set the over/under total at 189.5 for Sunday’s game.
The Magic have been amazing against the Cavs over the past couple years, sporting a 11-1 record against the spread versus Cleveland over the last three seasons. Orlando is also 28-19 against the number versus Cleveland since 1996.
The Magic have been tough so far this postseason and are 3-1 against the spread at home so far in the playoffs. But while the trends suggest to stick with Orlando, we’re going to buck the trend and recommend taking Cleveland, who has a ton of momentum now after James’ game winning shot in Game 2.
Our NBA Postseason Free Pick for this matchup is Cleveland +1.5.
