CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – ESPN Browns reporter Pat McManamon reports Cleveland is offering two first-round picks to the Titans in exchange for the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The thought is that the Browns will select Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota once the Tampa Bay Bucs take Jameis Winston with the top selection. Cleveland currently holds the No. 12 and No. 19 picks in the first round and would likely have to over Tennessee more than those selections, perhaps even its first-round pick in 2016.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Mariota is a 1/5 favorite to be the No. 2 pick in this year’s NFL draft. Florida edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr. is currently 15/2 to be the second player to come off the board on Thursday while USC’s Leonard Williams is 3/1 and Jameis Winston is 12/1. “Any Other Player” has odds of 9/1.
