(The Spread) – The Bobby Valentine experiment has been an utter disaster to this point in Boston and oddsmakers have now released prop odds on how long Bobby V will last with the Red Sox.
Will Bobby Valentine be the Red Sox’s manager for Game 1 of the 2013 MLB Regular Season? The odds for “Yes” are +150 while the odds for “No” are –200, signaling that oddsmakers don’t believe Valentine is long for Beantown. As of this writing the Red Sox are currently sitting in last place and there have been several reports that state Valentine isn’t liked or respected by the players.
Will Ozzie Guillen be the Marlins’ manager for Game 1 of the 2012 MLB Regular Season? The odds for “Yes” are –300 while the odds for “No” are +200. Unlike Valentine, the odds are in Guillen’s favor that he’s still around next year. His comments about dictator Fidel Castro got him in hot trouble with the club and the city of Miami, but the Marlins traded for him and have a vision for their ballclub that includes him sticking around as manager. Thus, as the odds show, he should stick as Miami’s manager for the time being.

How many total number of home runs will Albert Pujols hit in the 2012 MLB Regular Season? The over/under is now set at 30.5 while his over/under for RBI is 95.5.
Pujols is off to an extremely slow start in Los Angeles, as he’s hitting just .232 with no home runs and just four RBI. He’s been brutal thus far after signing a massive contract with the Angels, although it’s fair to point out that he struggled at the beginning of last season before finishing with a .299 average and 37 home runs for the Cardinals.
