Browns president Mike Holmgren says he made a phone call to the Rams 20 minutes before the draft began on Thursday and offered a package to the Rams, who selected Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford first overall. Holmgren would not specify what he offered the Rams. The Browns eventually selected Texas quarterback Colt McCoy in the third round.
