The 76ers finally ended their losing streak with a win over the Pelicans on Tuesday night and will look to do the unthinkable for them: Win two in a row.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Sixers are a 1.5-point home underdog tonight versus the Knicks at 7:00PM ET. The line opened at Philadelphia +3 while the total opened at 200 before climbing to 205.5, which is where the number sits now.
Despite enduring a lengthy losing streak, the Sixers are actually 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games overall. They’re also 6-1 at the betting window in their last seven games versus a team with a win percentage below .400 and are 6-2 against the number in their last eight home games versus a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400.
On the other side, the Knicks are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following a double-digit loss at home. They’ll also be without Kristaps Porzingis, who has been ruled out for tonight’s game due to a shoulder injury. With him out again, Derrick Williams will trade another start after he had 17 points and 10 rebounds in his previous outing.
With New York on cruise control, this is a good spot to grab the home underdog that is trying to earn its second consecutive victory.
