A clash between top 15 opponents in the Big 12 will be showcased tonight on ESPN2 when No. 14 West Virginia hosts No. 15 Baylor at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Mountaineers are a 6.5-point home favorite versus the Bears while the total currently sits at 148 after opening at 147. Baylor enters play with a 17-5 record but is just 5-10 against the spread, while West Virginia is 18-4 overall and a profitable 12-7 at the betting window.
The over is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and is 4-0 in the Mountaineers' last four games versus a team with a winning record. On the other side, the over is 7-2 in the Bears' last nine games versus a team with a winning percentage above .600.
The Bears have had plenty of success covering the spread versus the Mountaineers in previous meetings, going 4-0 ATS in the last four games against WVU. But Baylor has struggled of late, going 0-4-1 against the spread in its last five games overall and 0-3-1 ATS in its last four games versus Big 12 opponents.
