MILWAUKEE, WI (The Spread) – The NBA has suspended Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Larry Sanders 10 games for violating the league’s drug policy.
This is Sanders’ second suspension due to drugs as his career continues to deteriorate over the past two years.
Recently there were reports that Sanders wanted to leave the team but he said it “wasn’t true” that he wanted to leave the team and was working through his issues. The Bucks then gave their troubled forward time to deal with his issues and he wound up missing a game versus the Knicks in London on Thursday as he didn’t travel with the team.
The Bucks won’t play again until Monday when they host the Toronto Raptors at 8:00PM ET. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Milwaukee is currently a 150/1 long shot to win the 2015 NBA title.
