'09 Final Four Odds

The 2009 NCAA Mens College Basketball Season is still months away, but that doesn’t mean it’s not time to check out some future odds. Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBG Global has team future odds on the 2009 NCAA Mens Basketball Championship.

Bet on the 2009 NCAA Mens Basketball Championship Odds

Surprisingly, the defending NCAA Mens College Basketball Champions, the Kansas Jayhawks, are listed at 20/1 to win next year’s tournament. The Memphis Tigers, Jayhawks’ opponents in the 2008 Final Four tournament, is also listed at 20/1 odds.

The University of North Carolina is listed as the favorites to win the 2009 NCAA Mens Basketball Championship, with odds set at 10/3. The Tar Heels were steamrolling through the 2008 tournament before Memphis pulled off a decent-sized upset in Final Four, beating UNC 84-66.

There are seemingly some great values to be had, including UCONN (12/1), Duke (10/1), UCLA (10/1), Louisville (14/1), Tennessee (16/1), Texas (16/1) and Georgetown (18/1). Hawaii, Oregon State and Rhode Island are the long shots, listed at 500/1 odds to win the 2009 NCAA Mens Basketball Championship.
