CF Week 5 Odds
The 2008 College Football Season pushes on into Week 5. With conference play starting to heat up, lets take a look at the odds for all the Week 5 action. The top five is littered with great matchups this weekend, especially in Georgia where the No. 3 Bulldogs take on the No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global have made Georgia a 7-point favorite. Another great matchup lies with the No.2 team in the nation, the Oklahoma Sooners, taking on the high-powered offense of the No. 24 TCU Horned Frogs. Oddsmakers have made Oklahoma a 17.5-point favorite in that one. Fresh off another bye week, the top ranked USC Trojans will travel north to take on the Oregon State Beavers, a team that beat them two years ago in Corvallis. Oddsmakers clearly dont think another upset is in the making as theyve established USC as a whopping 24-point road favorite. Wrapping up the rest of the top 5 action is Mississippi at No. 4 Florida and Mississippi State at No. 5 LSU. The Gators are 23-point favorites over the Rebels, while the Tigers are 24-point favorites over the hapless Bulldogs.
