College football is back for another season with a flurry of action starting Thursday, August 28 and running throughout the weekend. Oddsmakers have released the odds for Week 1. A couple of Top 25 matchups are on the Week 1 schedule for college football. No. 20 Illinois heads to Missouri to take on quarterback Chase Daniel at the No. 6 ranked Tigers. Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have made Missouri a 9-point favorite over the online and have set the over/under total at 60. Also in the Top 25, No. 24 Alabama and head coach Nick Saban square off against ACC favorite Clemson and the No. 9 Tigers. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global have made Clemson a 5point favorite and have set the over/under total at 48.5. Another good match up this weekend is No. 3 USC at Virginia. While oddsmakers have made the Trojans a 19.5-point favorite, the Cavaliers cannot be counted out at home. No. 5 Florida also welcomes Hawaii in what could be a high scoring contest. The Gators opened up as 34-point favorites, while the over/under total has been set at a whopping 71.
