Memphis is 6-3 straight up in their last nine games. Key Stat: Memphis has gashed opponents on the ground this season, averaging 205.6 rushing yards per game. Memphis is also averaging 28.3 points per game. Game Outlook: Considering the Bulls play at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, this game in St. Petersburg is almost like a home game for them. But with that, the oddsmakers did bettors a favor by making the spread too high. Despite their 6-6 record, the Tigers have been competitive all season and have a deadly running game. South Florida does match up well with a stout front seven, but Memphis has had success most of the second half of the season. They’ve also covered three of their last five games, including two of their last three. The Bulls, meanwhile, have failed to cover the spread in each of their last three games and have lost four of their last five contests. USF is in a tail spin and quite frankly, haven’t been that dominant this year to be favored by almost two touchdowns.
