Palace Malice Breeders Odds
ARCADIA, CA (The Spread) - One of the intriguing contenders in this year's 2013 Breeders' Cup Classic field is Palace Malice.
According to oddsmakers from online sports books Bovada.lv, Palace Malice is 9/1 to win tonight's Breeders' Cup Classic while Game On Dude is a 5/2 favorite. Mucho Macho Man is also 4/1 while Fort Larned is 5/1 and Declaration of War is 7/1.
Palace Malice competed in two legs of the Triple Crown this year, finishing 12th at the Kentucky Derby before winning the Belmont Stakes on June 8th. He also has victories at the Grade 2 Jim Dandy on July 27 and at a MSW on August 4 of 2012, which was the second race of his career.
In his most recent race, Palace Malice finished second at the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup on September 28. He also finished fourth at the Grade 1 Travers on August 24 and placed second at the Grade 1 Blue Grass. The 3-year-old is trained by Todd A. Pletcher, who is one of the best in horse racing.
