The Indy 500 is a 500-mile race held annually over the Memorial Day weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The race is called The Greatest Spectacle in Racing and is considered one of the Triple Crowns of Motorsports, which also includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Monaco Grand Prix.

The pit reporters will be Jerry Punch, Vince Welch, Jamie Little, and Rick DeBruhl.

More Info: This will be the premier event of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season. The race will be the third of the three-year long Centennial era, celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the opening of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the 100^th anniversary of the first Indy 500 (which took place in 1911).
