DWTS Season 9 Odds
ABC presents the ninth season of Dancing with the Stars beginning Monday, September 21, and singer and reality star, Aaron Carter, is the pre-show favorite to win the competition.
The ninth installment of the reality dancing competition features a wide array of celebrity talent, ranging from pop idols to mixed martial artists to Grammy winners.
Carter enters the show with 3/1 odds to win according to online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are singer and actress Mya (4/1), singer and entertainer Donny Osmond (5/1), and singer Macy Gray (5/1).
Carter and Mya both have a lot of experience with choreography, having built their careers on their live performances that combine singing and dancing. Drew Lachey was the season two winner of the show and had a similar background to Carter and Mya.
Other notables that will compete on the show are former UFC champion Chuck Liddell, former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin, former model Kathy Ireland, and former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.
In the show’s history, four professional athletes have taken home the championship, with Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, and Kristi Yamaguchi each winning a season on the show.
The ninth season of Dancing with the Stars will debut on Monday, September 21 at 9PM ET on ABC. For complete odds on this year’s Emmys, see below.
