(The Spread) – The 2014 World Cup is now down to its Final Four. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the 2014 World Cup.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Argentina is now the slight favorite, as it has odds of +240 to prevail. The other odds are Germany (+250), Brazil (+260) and Netherlands (+320).
Argentina reached the semifinals thanks to its 1-0 win over Belgium on Saturday. Argentina is looking to win its third World Cup and it will face the Netherlands in the semifinals.
Germany reached the semifinals with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over France. Germany is looking to claim its fourth World Cup title. It will face Brazil in the semifinals.
Brazil defeated Colombia 2-1 in the quarterfinals, but suffered some big losses in doing so. Star player Neymar suffered a broken vertebrae in his back in the game and will be out for the rest of the World Cup. Thiago Silva also was given two yellow cards and will miss its semifinal with Germany. Brazil is looking to win its sixth World Cup.
Netherlands advanced to the semifinals with a win over Costa Rica. The game was scoreless and went down to penalty kicks, which the Dutch won 4-3. The Netherlands has never won the World Cup, but finished second three times.
