Spain vs. Italy Opening Odds
KIEV (The Spread) – After three weeks of exciting Euro 2012 action, Italy and Spain will meet in the Final match this Sunday.
Sunday’s Final match has opened as a pick’em, with Spain carrying juice of –185 and Italy carrying juice of +145. Spain is also EVEN on the money line while Italy is +280 and the total for this game has been set at two goals. A wager on the draw has odds of +240.
Spain opened as 11/4 favorites to win Euro 2012 while Italy had 10/1 odds. These two teams met on June 10 (the first match of Group C) and played to a 1-1 tie. The Red Fury then went on to beat the Republic of Ireland 4-0 and also blanked Croatia 1-0. The Blues, meanwhile, played to another 1-1 draw with Croatia before recording their first win against the Republic of Ireland (2-0).

In the quarter-finals, Spain shutout France 2-0 while Italy beat England 4-2 in a shootout. Spain then beat Portugal 4-2 in a shootout in the semi-finals round and Italy upset Germany 2-1 on Thursday. Mario Balotelli scored both goals for Italy in the Blues win over Germany.
Oddsmakers have also released alternate lines for Sunday’s Final match. You can wager on Spain at –0.5 (EVEN), -1 (+180) and –1.5 (+330), or Italy at +0.5 (-130), +1 (-240) and +1.5 (-500). The alternate totals include 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 goals, although the juice varies on each wager.
The Final match for Euro 2012 between Spain and Italy is set for 2:45PM ET.
