BRAZIL (The Spread) – Brazil looks to lock up the top spot out of Group A in the 2014 World Cup today when it faces Cameroon at 4PM ET.

Brazil comes into the match 1-0-1 while Cameroon is 0-2-0. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Brazil is favored to win this match, as it has odds of -750 to win, while Cameroon has odds of +1600 to prevail. The odds of a draw have been set at +800, while the over/under total has been listed at 3.5 goals.

Brazil is now 68-15-16 in World Cup play following a 3-1 win over Croatia and a 0-0 tie with Mexico. The Brazilians have a World Cup best 213 career goals. Brazil is coming off the draw with Mexico where it certainly didn’t look its best. Brazil had 14 shots to Mexico’s 13, but the Brazilians had an 8-3 edge in shots on goal. Neymar had scored two goals in the opening win, but went without a goal off of a team-high three shots in the draw with Mexico.

Cameroon gave up 21 shots to Croatia in their last loss despite having the ball for 49% of the match. Cameroon was led in the loss by Vincent Aboubakar, who had five shots and two shots on goal.
