Updated Breeders’ Cup Classic Odds
LEXINGTON, KY (The Spread) – After winning the Triple Crown less than a week ago, American Pharoah is now favored to win the 2015 Breeders’ Cup Classic, which will take place in late October.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, American Pharoah is currently a 3/2 favorite to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic, ahead of California Chrome and Palace Malice, who are both 9/1, respectively. Tonalist, meanwhile, is 11/1 while toast of New York is 12/1 and Honor Code is 14/1.
California Chrome won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes in 2014 before falling short of his Triple Crown bid by finishing fourth in the Belmont Stakes. Last year he placed third in the Breeders’ Cup Classic behind Bayern and Toast of New York.
As for Bayern, he’s 16/1 to repeat as the winner of the Breeders’ Cup Classic while Dortmund is 18/1 and Constitution, Firing Line, Lea and Moreno are 20/1, respectively. A complete list of odds to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic are below.
