Ghana is appearing in its third World Cup. It has reached the second round in its previous two appearances, including a quarterfinal run in 2010.

The United States is looking to reach the second round in back-to-back World Cups for the first time. The U.S. hasn’t gotten past the second round since the first World Cup in 1930.
