UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin takes place Saturday, June 12 from the General Motors Palace in Vancouver, British Columbia with a main event featuring two former champions.

Two greats finally meet
The main event of Saturday’s card is a light heavyweight contest between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin. Both of these two are former UFC champions as Liddell was the light heavyweight champion for a few years while Franklin held the middleweight title for over a year. Franklin enters the fight as a slight favorite with a betting line of -160 while Liddell comes in at +130. Both men are at low points in their career and each desperately needs a win to remain relevant. Liddell has lost four of his last five fights, with the last two coming by knockout while Franklin is coming off a knockout loss to Vitor Belfort. This fight will likely be a standup war as both men like to strike from their feet.
Heavyweight kick-boxing matchup
In the co-main event, Pat Barry meets Mirko Cro Cop in a heavyweight contests that features two very solid kick-boxers. Barry comes in as the favorite with a line of -155, but Cro Cop is the more experienced fighter and has a line of +125. Both men have vowed that this will be a stand up war, so someone is likely to get hurt. Barry has the quickness edge and his leg kicks are brutal. He has won three fights in his career in the first round due to leg kicks. Cro Cop utilizes body kicks and head kicks. His head-kick knockouts are legendary. In this fight that man that is able to land his strikes first and more effectively will be the winner.
